The Business Support Network (TBSN) exists to equip entrepreneurs with the skills, systems, and support required to build resilient and scalable businesses.

In 2025 – our first full year of operations – we moved decisively from concept to execution, delivering hands-on support and laying the groundwork for scalable impact across Uganda.

Business Advisory & Founder Support

We provided bespoke, one-on-one advisory to founders, focusing on: Revenue strategy and growth planning, Operational efficiency and process optimization, Leadership development and decision-making; This support enabled founders to move faster from idea to execution while strengthening internal systems for sustainable growth.

Business Diagnostics & Growth Readiness

All direct beneficiary businesses underwent structured Business Health Checks, assessing: Customer experience and satisfaction, Sales process effectiveness, Operational workflows, Resource allocation; Each business received 3–5 immediate growth opportunities, with continued support scheduled for 2026.

Women & Community Empowerment

Empowering women entrepreneurs remains central to our mission. In 2025, we: Supported Kasese young women tailors with skills development and exposure, Provided financial literacy and accountability coaching to women through the TBSN Thrive Fund model, Facilitated education scholarships for women entrepreneurs at the Annual Business Owners’ Fête; These interventions strengthen income generation, confidence, and long-term economic participation.

TBSN Skilling Hub - Building the Future of Learning

In 2025, we officially broke ground on the TBSN Skilling Hub in Gayaza, Nakasajja. The Hub is designed as a hands-on learning space offering training in: Digital literacy and technology adoption, Future-forward business skills, Soft skills for leadership in a global market, The Skilling Hub will serve as a practical engine for skills development and workforce readiness.

Ecosystem Convening & Partnerships

We believe strong ecosystems build strong businesses. In 2025, TBSN: Convened 68 business owners for peer learning and collaboration, Activated 8+ partnerships with incubators, corporates, and ecosystem actors, Grew a vibrant community of entrepreneurs committed to shared learning and growth

Looking Ahead: Our 2026 Impact Goals

In 2026, TBSN will scale its programs to support 1,500+ entrepreneurs with skills, mentorship, capital readiness, and market access.
