Our impact
Turning entrepreneurial potential into measurable progress.
In 2025, our first full year of operations, we moved decisively from concept to execution, delivering hands-on support and laying the groundwork for scalable impact across Uganda.
2025 impact snapshot
The year in detail
Five areas of focus.
Business Advisory & Founder Support
We provided bespoke, one-on-one advisory to founders, focusing on revenue strategy and growth planning, operational efficiency and process optimisation, and leadership development and decision-making. This support enabled founders to move faster from idea to execution while strengthening internal systems for sustainable growth.
Business Diagnostics & Growth Readiness
All direct beneficiary businesses underwent structured Business Health Checks, assessing customer experience, sales process effectiveness, operational workflows and resource allocation. Each business received three to five immediate growth opportunities, with continued support scheduled for 2026.
Women & Community Empowerment
Empowering women entrepreneurs remains central to our mission. In 2025, we supported the Kasese young women tailors with skills development and exposure, provided financial literacy and accountability coaching through the TBSN Thrive Fund model, and facilitated education scholarships for women entrepreneurs at the Annual Business Owners' FĂȘte.
TBSN Skilling Hub: Building the Future of Learning
In 2025, we officially broke ground on the TBSN Skilling Hub in Gayaza, Nakasajja. The Hub is designed as a hands-on learning space offering training in digital literacy and technology adoption, future-forward business skills, and soft skills for leadership in a global market.
Ecosystem Convening & Partnerships
We believe strong ecosystems build strong businesses. In 2025, TBSN convened 68 business owners for peer learning and collaboration, activated 8+ partnerships with incubators, corporates and ecosystem actors, and grew a vibrant community of entrepreneurs committed to shared learning and growth.
Voices of impact
Entrepreneur success stories.
Our impact is best told through the voices of those we serve.
"From tailor to trainer, Jovia's journey began at TBSN's first Business Owners Fete. With our mentorship and marketing support, she transformed her tailoring business into a training academy now empowering over 10 new tailors each term. Her success reflects how TBSN's support creates lasting cycles of growth and entrepreneurship."

"With TBSN's one-on-one mentorship and business advisory, Jeridah turned her cleaning startup into a thriving enterprise. In just three months, she expanded her client base and fully repaid her startup loan. Today, with continued marketing and sales support from TBSN, Jeridah's business keeps growing."

A member's story
From selling medicine to solving a community problem.
"Her community's biggest challenge was hygiene. She saw it as a business opportunity, not someone else's problem."
When Stella Kipande joined TBSN's Business Shule, she was running a small drug shop with thin margins and little room to grow. With guidance from TBSN, she diversified into locally produced liquid soap for schools and households nearby, a new revenue stream that now earns an extra UGX 100,000 a month and has let her employ another member of staff.
Looking ahead
Our 2026 goals.
In 2026, TBSN will scale its programmes to support 1,500+ entrepreneurs with skills, mentorship, capital readiness and market access.
